Hello, my name is Henry. I am currently being allowed to live at Tabby’s Treasures instead of in a cage at Animal Aide. I am still looking for my forever home, but until some nice people decide that I am the one for them, I will stay in the shop where I can meet lots of people. You will recognize me right away when you come in to Tabby’s Treasures. I am the dark coloured Tabby who greets you at the door. I am sporting a lovely red collar. Sometimes, I like to lie in the window to talk to people passing by.
I love to be picked up and patted. As a matter of fact, I like it when people pick me up under their arm like a football and carry me around the shop. If you sit down, I will be right there to snuggle in your lap. I have my favorite chair, but laps are much more comfy. A dog came in to Tabby’s Treasures the other day and I initially ran for cover. However, after the dog got fitted for a coat, I came out to see how good she looked in it. Tabby and I gave our approval on her choice of coats. I’m sure we could have been friends with that Jack Russell if she had stayed in the shop longer. I love my roommate, Tabby, but I would love a family to live with. The next time you are in to Animal Aide looking for a new family member; please ask if you can visit with me next door. 333 Talbot Street, 519-633-3788, or send us an email.
You won’t be sorry. I will love you forever.

Holly arrived at Animal Aide Nov.30, 2009 a timid, scared little girl. She tried to hide but there wasn’t many places to go in a cage. Every week it seemed that she was a little more comfortable than the week before. She now reluctantly enjoys being petted. Last week, I noticed that she has 4 white feet. Holly is approximately 2 years old. What improvements will she have accomplished this week? Imagine what she could do with a home of her own and the encouragement of people who love her. They say that there is someone for everyone. I would like to believe that there is someone for every cat in our shelter. All we have to do is convince them to come in to see them. So…step up and in…you won’t regret it. 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or e-mail us.
BY GOLLY, IT’S HOLLY!!!
When we first met Jessie on September 12, 2008, she was a bit nervous, but very sweet. Well, nervous doesn’t describe this sweetheart anymore. Jessie is friendly, loves people, and will steal food from the bottom cages if the dishes are within reaching distance and is very good at hiding her age. If I had to guess, I would say somewhere around 5 years old. Jessie is a beautiful brown tabby with caramel colouring under her chin and down her neck. Jessie doesn’t like to be caged and she is always one of the first to ask to be let out for her free time. After stealing as much food as she can, Jessie can usually be found laying in the sun by the front windows or sleeping on the chair at the desk. It doesn’t occur to her that someone else might like to lay there. Jessie has gorgeous green eyes that will look deep into yours and she will silently beg for you to take her home. Jessie has waited for over a year. Please come visit Jessie at Animal Aide, 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or send us an email.
Jessie is more than ready for her Happy Ending!
