Clive – Currently in a foster home

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

My name is Clive. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was rescued Oct. 23, 2007 along with my brothers, Kernel and Licorice and my sister, Taffy.  We were just babies (10 weeks) and it was very scary for a long time. Some of us sibs were friendlier than others and I think I am a little more reserved than my brothers. I am currently accepting applications for the position of companion. The duties of a companion are quite vast. The applicant must be ready to supply unconditional love for which I will reciprocate. The applicant must keep me indoors so I won’t get lost. The applicant must supply me with enough toys so that I will not be tempted to play with toes in the middle of the night. The successful applicant will fall in love with me at first sight. and be able to look past my initial shyness. You might ask, “What does the successful applicant get for all this?” Well…….ME.  Bring your application to 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas, call 519-633-3788 or e-mail me.

GOOD LUCK!!

Dennis – Currently in a foster home

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

For those of you who check out our website, you will notice the incredible resemblance this boy has to Key! You have heard of Austin Powers and his Mini Me? Well, this is our Mini Key! Dennis arrived at Animal Aide on September 18, 2007, at the age of 1 year. He had been trapped and taken to the pound first so he is a little shy, but very gentle. When you reach in to pet him, he backs himself into the back corner of the age, but as soon as you start petting him, he moves forward and lays down to receive the full benefits. He is nervous about being picked up, but enjoys the attention so much that he will come around to that very quickly. Dennis is a black and white short-haired cat who is looking for love. To meet Dennis, please visit Animal Aide at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, send us an email, or call at 519-633-3788.

Mini Key awaits!

Evelyn – Currently in a foster home

evelyn-5.JPGThings are definitely looking up for Evelyn. Poor Evelyn was found May 3, 2007, raising 5 kittens in a doghouse in Port Stanley. Can you imagine!!! The family was rescued from that humiliation by Animal Aide and placed in foster care. All the kids have been adopted and Evelyn is now with us at the shelter. This mostly white, 4 year old, short-haired cat is learning that people are pretty good and is beginning to realize that she wants one or two for her very own. Won’t you give her a chance? Hasn’t she had enough humiliation in her life??  Visit Evelyn at 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas, call at 519-633-3788 or e-mail us.
