Cassie – Updated May 19, 2009

Cassie 3-20-10 3Cassie came to us Aug.6, 2008. She was a sweet but very shy girl. She was placed in a cage near the laundry room door and I grew to be very fond of her. Eventually she was moved to a brighter, better location. Cassie has really come out of her shell since then. She really enjoys being brushed and she will purr for as long as we brush her. She is also one of the smartest cats I have met. She watched and learned how to open, not one but two different styles of cages. There were many mornings when she was at the door to greet the first arriving volunteer with a smug look on her face when she was supposed to be in her cage. She is now up near the front door. So far, she hasn’t figured out how to open this style of cage. Give her time. This in one girl who is more than ready to open YOUR heart. How about giving her that chance? Visit Cassie at 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or e-mail us.

SHE’S A WINNER!!!

Gina – Updated May 6, 2010

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Gina has been with us for almost a year now. She was rescued June 18, 2009. At that time, Gina was approximately 1 year old, which now makes her almost 2. She was very thin when she came but over time, she has plumped up ….just a bit. Gina is a very dark brown tabby, one of the darkest I have seen. Gina just loves people; actually she would probably lick you to death. Gina was not fond of other cats when she arrived and unlike some cats who seem to get over that little problem, Gina is still not fond of other cats. Gina would make the perfect companion for the person who just wants one cat so, that definitely lets me out. Gina is ready to meet and taste you, so drop in and take a peak at Gina. 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or e-mail us.

Kringle – Updated November 8, 2008

Kringle, Kringle, little cat,  Black and white is where it’s at!  From the pound, so bright-eyed,  Looking for a place to hide!  Kringle, Kringle, little cat, Black and white is where it’s at!

Sweet, petite, adorable and a little shy. That was our first impression upon meeting Kringle on October 19, 2007, at the age of 1 year. Kringle was found wandering the streets looking for food. Now, she is full, has a warm bed and people who talk to her gently and stroke her fur. Kringle is very gentle and has beautiful black and white markings. She is still very young and feels more at ease, but was starting to feel a little uncomfortable outside her cage. This sometimes happens to cats who spend too much time in a cage. Now when Kringle has her time out of her cage, her favourite toy is a pillow filled with catnip! She is such a sweetheart! However, Kringle absolutely does not like other cats. She needs to go to a home where she will remain the only pet. In the past year, Kringle has put on a bit of weight, but can be held and is very loving. Kringle can be seen at Animal Aide, 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas, by calling 519-633-3788 or by sending an email.

Kringle, Kringle, bigger cat!
