Sometimes, we look after our older friends and sometimes we don’t. When we first met Mandy, we sadly had to realize that she was one that wasn’t. Mandy is only 11 years old, which in some ways seems old, but when you consider that I live with a 25 year old cat and my daughter lives with a 22 year old cat, it seems quite young to us. Unfortunately, not everyone felt that way or Mandy wouldn’t have found herself at the pound and then living with us at Animal Aide. Mandy became part of our family on November 27, 2009. She is a sweet girl who still enjoys being held and cuddled, still purrs and still likes to play. She isn’t the kind of cat who will jump up on ornaments and isn’t likely to break things accidentally. What she does want and need is a home with someone who will love her and that she can give her love to in return. Please come visit Mandy at Animal Aide, 333 Talbot Street, St. Thomas, give us a call at 519-633-3788 or send us an email.
Give your love to Mandy!

I just wanted to send you a few pics to let you know how these 2 young boys are doing. I know that these pictures are very laid back, and that is exactly what Spade(formally Sox) is like…just a long, skinny, lounge lizard who can sleep or stretch out anywhere. Milo, (formally Willy) on the other hand usually can’t sit still for very ong before finding something to get in trouble with. We have even had to lock the dog and cat food and dog dentabones (that were in a sealed bag) into one of the dog Kennels because he would insist on spilling food everywhere, even when everyone had food out! He just needed to see for himself what is in those bags and containers. If anyone is on the computer, then he wants on the computer. If you are washing the dishes, he wants to play in the sink. If you are doing the laundry, he needs to be in the basket you are putting the folded clothes in. You get the drift. But at least he gets along with everyone, including the rescued dalmatians we have adopted. They are a great addition to our house. Thank you.
