Gina has been with us for almost a year now. She was rescued June 18, 2009. At that time, Gina was approximately 1 year old, which now makes her almost 2. She was very thin when she came but over time, she has plumped up ….just a bit. Gina is a very dark brown tabby, one of the darkest I have seen. Gina just loves people; actually she would probably lick you to death. Gina was not fond of other cats when she arrived and unlike some cats who seem to get over that little problem, Gina is still not fond of other cats. Gina would make the perfect companion for the person who just wants one cat so, that definitely lets me out. Gina is ready to meet and taste you, so drop in and take a peak at Gina. 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or e-mail us.

When Sunshine first arrived, she looked like she had been through the wars. What a life she must have led for the past 2 years!! She is now physically healed, but we don’t know about her emotional scars. She arrived at our shelter June 16, 2009, with evidence that she had had kittens but there were no kittens with her. She was also complaining of a sore back. Maybe she had been grazed by a car or maybe she was a target of mean kids who throw rocks at black cats for “fun”. We will never know. What we do know is that Sunshine’s life can only get better from now on. She is a bit wary but that is certainly understandable. All she needs is a chance. Sunshine does like to give kisses to any hand that reaches towards her slowly, but will still swat if you move too quickly. All any of our cats need is a chance. A cat can be an amazing friend so give one a try by visiting us at 333 Talbot St., St. Thomas, 519-633-3788 or e-mail us.
GIVE HER A BETTER LIFE!!
Kat

Once upon a time in Yorkshire, black kittens like Kat were very highly in demand. It was believed that having a black cat on board would bring the fishermen home safely. Black kittens were often catnapped and sold to the highest bidder. For a short time only, you have the opportunity to adopt Kat; a beautiful, lively, friendly black kitten. Kat was rescued from the pound along with his brother Kit, May 5, 2009 at 7 weeks of age. He has since been neutered and is ready to go home with the first lucky person that falls in love with him. You don’t have to be a fisherman to adopt Kat but you do need to have as big a heart as he does. Don’t wait too long. Everyone is looking for a little luck these days. Please call Animal Aide at 519-633-3788, send us an email or visit Kat at 333 Talbot St, St. Thomas.
