Jewel has settled in quite nicely. You may be wondering what I mean by that. Jewel was brought to us March 16, 2009 along with her two sisters, Poppy, Q-tip, brother, Mister (adopted) and their mother, Lotus (adopted). They were born late last summer in a shed in Aylmer and were 7 months old by the time they came to us. The owner of the shed fed and cared for them all winter but when they got to that special age, she called us. Jewel has come a long way since she arrived. She enjoys being petted and even purrs. Jewel’s rescuer still comes in especially to play with her and her siblings and they all enjoy that time. Jewel needs a home where there are no small children who would startle her.
