Animal Aide would like to thank Valley View and Mary Lou McQuaig for having a fundraiser which brought in approximately $1,000. in supplies and donations for Animal Aide and Pets Friends 4 Life.  Mary Lou worked very hard at organizing this event and her love for the animals truly shone through!  We would also like to thank everyone who helped Mary Lou and those who kindly donated to this worth while cause. That’s how Animal Aide St Thomas-Elgin feels about an amazing donation

received from three 13yr old friends from Shedden, who decided to celebrate their 13th birthdays together. They planned a joint birthday party at the Keystone Complex for last Fri. night, Feb. 20th, and invited friends and classmates from their Grade 7 class at Southwold Public School. The three young girls, Jordin Higgs, Rachel Chandelier and Rachael Dryfhout, asked for donations to Animal Aide in lieu of birthday gifts.

By the end of the evening the donations totalled………$1,300.00 !!!
Oh yes and a great time was had by all, including older siblings and moms
who pitched in to set up, clean up and chaperone the evening. The girls are seen here proudly presenting a cheque to Animal Aide volunteer, Heather Vedova and of course, one of the shelter cats, Duffy.
