A big thank you to Mrs. Southerst’s Grade 4-5 Class at Elgin Court Public School. The students held a Lemonade Sale and Carnival for the primary grades at their school to raise money for Animal Aide. They brought in $250. Way to go kids that is huge and all the animals at Animal Aide thank you for helping them! Have a great summer
Dear Animal Aide,
Here is our story about the cat we adopted, Gabe. When we brought Gabe home he was very frightened. Gabe stayed in his crate for about 30 minutes before he decided to bolt under my brother’s bed. He was quite scared and hid under the bed for about three weeks only coming out when nobody was around. Gabe was not used to living in a house – he had been at Animal Aide for almost a year. Although he was treated very well there he didn’t have a home to call his own. Now before our eyes he has become a loving, adoring cat! He thinks every bed in the house is his and he is very spoiled. If you are not sure about adopting a timid cat we can tell you that it will be okay in time. Gabe is a different cat now; we have only had him for 2 months and he loves to be around people and kids.

This is Molly, formally known as Eclair. She was invited into my family in April of 2005. She is a bouncy, joyful kitten, just waiting for someone to play fetch with her – yes, play fetch or to run after her and rub her head. She is well-loved and we couldn’t thank Animal Aide enough for giving us the opportunity to meet Molly!I hope that someday soon, someone else has the chance to meet and hopefully have a new furry friend in their home
Thank you!
