As anyone who has ever felt fear can tell you, it is not an easy thing to live with, nor is it an easy thing to get over. When Lucinda entered our doors, we were instantly struck by the fear in her eyes. Lucinda had somehow escaped the safety of her cage at the pound and ended up in the ceiling for two weeks before being found and recaged. Lucinda can be petted if you move slowly and since she is only 1 year old, we believe that with time, patience, love, dedication and determination, Lucinda will realize that she need fear no more. Lucinda is a small black, short-haired cat who is extremely shy and introverted. She is looking for a quiet home with no small children or other pets where she can bond and learn to love and trust. If you have the time, Lucinda needs your help! Please don’t bypass this little beauty.
