Frodo and Claus

Frodo and Sam travel to “Middle North”

One summer morning, newly arrived in St. Thomas from Victoria, B.C., I decided to stroll down to the Animal Rescue Centre on Talbot Street and there I found two wonderful additions to our feline family of three. Frodo and Claus (we changed his name to ‘Sam’) had been given to the Animal Rescue Centre by his former owners, who ironically, moved to British Columbia and couldn’t take them with them. Shortly after that, we moved from St. Thomas to North London, where we set up a safe and secure environment for our new family of five. We regretfully lost two of our elderly female members in 2007 and early 2008, so we now have a family of three, which is what we started out with when we arrived in Ontario in 2006. We love our ‘guys’ and we are joyful that we were able to take them in so that they stayed together as a set. We thank the dedicated and caring people who nurtured them at the St. Thomas Animal Rescue Centre, and appreciate the great job they do, looking after the stray and abandoned animals in their neighbourhood and beyond. We are so happy to have Frodo and Sam as part of our new Ontario family.

Sincerely,

Cheryl and Daniel
