December 27/07

Just a quick update on Shasta. Her new name is Sassy. A new name for a new life. She is doing great and we love her. She is very sweet natured and loves having a home of her own. Thank you for keeping her safe until we found each other.

Just a quick update to let you know Sassy is doing great.  She has settled in quit well and SOMETIMES enjoys her new buddy Gizmo who is also a rescue cat.  He is 8 months old and he is deaf.

antoinette-annie-and-yoyo-2.jpgHello to Animal Aide

I just wanted to send you an update on our ‘girls’ – Annie (Antoinette) and Yoyo are doing so well. Annie is still skittish and a charming girl, Yoyo is laid back and tolerant of Annie’s love of grooming!

Thanks for the additions to our Family
Take care,
Nancy, John, Jack and Emily

stuart-at-home-1-14-08.jpgStuart has been with us for 1 month now and he is the sweetest little boy. He spent stuart-at-home-6-1-14-08.jpgthe first 4 or 5 days hiding up on the cold basement pipes. He would let us pet and feed him though. After work I would set up my mat and sleeping bag down there so he would get used to me. In the mean time I knitted him a little bed.(He curls up in it now with his little stuffies). On day four I had my Jane Goodall moment and he came down to say hello. He has gradually moved up to the main floor and this week he has come up to the bedrooms following his “mommy” all over the house. He loves to sit on my lap as I knit and he’s a real snuggler during nap time. He is most definitely a love cat!
