Just wanted to give you an update on Milo, our wonderful new kitty.
He has been renamed Monty by my 3 yr old son, who adores him. Monty is an easy going cat, obviously he had been in a family with small children before coming to mine-their loss was my gain! My son Chris loves to pick Monty up and carry him around the house, and Monty obliges, nary a peep otherwise. He seems actually rather content to be dragged around by my son. He is quick to turn on his engines, and purrs so hard that he starts to squeak. Very happy go lucky sort of fellow. He gets along great with my other kitties, and has become a playmate for Libby, my torti. They chase and wrestle and then will give each other a lick every
now and again. No hostility at all since he was met and greeted by my feline children. Thanks for taking such good care of all the kitties who come to be at your shelter. Monty is a true delight, and such a perfect fit for our family. He is warm and affectionate, and a true friend. Thanks,
Sandy, Ted, Chris and Joel
My name is Clive. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was rescued Oct. 23, 2007 along with my brothers, Kernel and Licorice and my sister, Taffy. We were just babies (10 weeks) and it was very scary for a long time. Some of us sibs were friendlier than others and I think I am a little more reserved than my brothers. I am currently accepting applications for the position of companion. The duties of a companion are quite vast. The applicant must be ready to supply unconditional love for which I will reciprocate. The applicant must keep me indoors so I won’t get lost. The applicant must supply me with enough toys so that I will not be tempted to play with toes in the middle of the night. The successful applicant will fall in love with me at first sight. and be able to look past my initial shyness. You might ask, “What does the successful applicant get for all this?” Well…….ME. Bring your application to 333 Talbot St. St. Thomas, call 519-633-3788 or e-mail me.
GOOD LUCK!!
Here are some updated pics of Hobo. I told you that he gets cold and will lie on the vent.
He will also get inside a blanket when he’s cold. When it is feeding time at the Sheridan house for my kitties, all I have to ask is if they are “ready”. We have to be careful using that word because when we use it Hobo thinks that it is time to eat and he will go and lay by his bowl and wait. The last 2 pics are of him lying by his bowl waiting to be fed. He laid there for about 2 hours and didn’t move. I finally fed him.
Sue
