Charity came to us July 13, 2006. Yes, she has been with us for a very long time. Charity really enjoys getting out of her cage for a jog around the centre. However, she has been here so long that she goes right back to her cage. That is her home. We would really like to get Charity into a real home even if it is a temporary home (ie: Pet Guardian). You might ask yourself…what’s wrong with her. Well, she is not overly fond of other cats, but lately she has managed to behave herself quite well. Actually, just the other day, Charity shocked 2 of our volunteers by demanding attention ON THEIR LAPS. I don’t know which volunteer was more shocked, in a good way, of course. She is also somewhat feisty. That’s not a bad thing, she just has very definite opinions and over the years, that too has mellowed. Charity was between 1 and 2 years of age when she came so she has now spent half of her life in a cage. I think that she deserves a chance.
